Saturn From Above
The ringed planet Saturn, as seen from above by the Cassini probe. The structure of Saturn's atmosphere is visible. During this season on Saturn, the Sun is illuminating the "underside" of the rings, casting a shadow on Saturn's northern hemisphere. Not very high, however, as Saturn's equinox was a few months away. Saturn's moon Mimas in in the upper left, the shadow of Enceladus (not seen) is center. --- Image by © NASA - JPL/Science Faction/Corbis
